Our 24 hour veterinary hospital is seeking part-time, full-time, or casual Veterinary Technologists. We provide routine and emergency/critical care for small, companion animals. Techs assist with surgeries, endoscopies, Doppler ultrasounds, digital x-rays, and dentals as well as run a laboratory equipped with IDEXX, ABC and Vetscan machines, coagulation testing and blood gases. Our technologists work 12 hour shifts on a rotation with a bi-weekly alternation between days and nights. Compensation is $16 – 23/hr starting wage (DOE), a health/dental plan, and CE and uniform allowance. This is your chance to actually use the training you have obtained!

We are seeking an AHT for Duncan Animal Hospital, a busy one doctor small animal practise in Duncan. The successful applicant should have some experience as they will be expected to be able to operate as the primary technician. Duties will include anesthesia induction and monitoring, radiology, in house laboratory, inventory maintenance and ordering, dental prophylaxes, IV catheter placement, and limited front desk duties (covering lunch, etc.) We are a happy crew in a modern clinic with high standards of medicine and surgery. We have a very low staff turnover rate so this is a golden opportunity to join us in the lovely Cowichan Valley. Wage is dependent on experience and a generous health and dental package is available. This position will start June 1 and will be full time.

The Regina Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic is looking for a fourth RVT to join our fun and hard- working team. We are a fast-paced spay/neuter clinic that also cares for in-house shelter animals.
We are looking for an energetic individual with the ability to multi-task, who can work well as part of a team. The successful applicant will provide excellent patient care, routine examinations and vaccinations, assisting with patient anaesthesia and monitoring, surgical preparation, lab work, and care of shelter animals. Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Familiarity with Cornerstone is an asset.
Schedule would be Monday to Friday with the possibility of Weekends. In general hours are 8-4pm or 10am-6pm with the option of some flexibility.
