SAVT 24th AGM & Conference
November 7-9, 2008
The Radisson Hotel & Western College of Veterinary Medicine
‘Taking Learning to a New Level’
The conference will be held at the Radisson hotel on 20th, (downtown)
on Nov. 7 & 8, and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine
(WCVM) on Nov. 9.
Join us November 7-9, 2008 at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Saskatoon
for another one of the best conferences in Canada! We are excited
to offer two full days of enlightening talks on topics that are
relevant to today's veterinary technologists. Don't forget that
this is a great way to network with other VT’s, students and
those that have vast experience in the industry.
We will start out the conference with a Wine and Cheese Reception
and Registration on Friday evening. This has been named a highlight
of past conferences because of the opportunity to talk to so many
people. Delegates are reunited with their classmates or they can
spend the time visiting friends and the many industry displays on
hand. This is always well attended and there will be great incentives
and door prizes for all who register Friday night.

and celebrate! This annual event maintains its reputation as the
best not-to-be missed event. Plan to attend the banquet and entertainment.
This is a great evening of fun with your fellow techs!

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ONLINE REGISTRATION
Online registration proved to be successful for all those who used
it, all respondents on the survey said it was quick and easy! The
site is secure. Please be aware that online registration was put
into place to streamline registration, but more importantly to organize
the wet lab registration so you could make your choice and your
selection was confirmed immediately. The way it works is that whoever
registered online immediately registers for their labs. A confirmation
is sent to your email address indicating what labs you are registered
for.
For those who mail their registration, stacks of mail are received
and in any order as they are delivered. There is a very good chance
you will not receive your first choice for labs.
If you do not use credit cards, you may register online and check
the box saying you will send a cheque in the mail. You will have
ten days to send in your cheque and save your spot.
