National Vet Tech Week

October 16-22, 2016

Veterinary technicians are critical to the day-to-day function of veterinary practices, and play vital roles in preserving animal health and welfare. National Veterinary Technician Week, first celebrated in 1993, takes place in the third week of October each year, and provides an opportunity to recognize veterinary technicians’ contributions

Registered Veterinary Technologists in Saskatchewan are nothing short of the true definition of a miracle jack of all trades. In human health care, we have Nurses, Medical Radiation Technologists, Pharmacy Technicians, Anesthesiologists, Laboratory Technologists, Microbiologists, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, Managers, Accountants, and Teachers just to name a few. In animal health, we have the RVT. And we are all of the above, and more!

Thank you for your participation and enthusiasm!
