1. Who can register for the SAVT conference?

Anyone! We have pricing options for RVTTC Members (RVTs), Veterinary team members, non-members and Veterinary Technology students.  Click here to view the registration fees by membership type:  https://www.savt.ca/html/savt-conference/Registration-Fees/index.cfm

2. Who can register at the discounted RVT Member price?

SAVT extends the discounted member pricing to all members of RVTTC! So if you are a member of a provincial association, (excl. Quebec) you can take advantage of the reduced member pricing. **New in 2019, the entire Veterinary team can also register at the RVT member price.

3. What's included in my registration?

All registrations include a delegate bag, access to the online proceedings and entry into the Friday Evening Welcome Reception, Tradeshow, Job Fair & Marketplace. Meals and CE sessions are based on which pass you select. 4. How many CE credits can I earn for the weekend?

5. Can I attend the AGM if I'm not attending the rest of the conference?

Of course! SAVT encourages all members to be a part of this important meeting. However, we ask you to please register as we require accurate numbers for the hotel. Please login to register. 

6. What do I do if I have special dietary concerns?

There will be Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten free and Dairy free options available during the event. If you require a meal to be prepared separately, please be sure to indicate this on your registration. A plate will be labelled and set at the beginning of the buffet line for you for breakfast and lunch. Options for coffee breaks will be located on the buffet inside Ballroom B near the stage. Sunday meals will be located in room 2106. (Adjacent to the buffeteria.) *The health and safety of our members is very important to SAVT and the Saskatoon Inn. If you are unable to locate appropriate meals or have any concerns, please find a staff member of SAVT member immediately.

7. Where do I go when I get to the Conference hotel?

Proceed through the Saskatoon Inn lobby, veer left and up the ramp. The conference registration booth is located on the second floor mezzanine outside ballroom A. Here you will receive instructions from our helpful student volunteers as well as a program that includes all the information you will need.

8. Where is the tradeshow?

The tradeshow hall is located in Ballrooms A and B with non-profit booths, SAVT merchandise and Conference Registation booth out on the second floor mezzanine.

9. How do I collect my CE credits afterwards?

Friday and Saturday's CE credits will be automatically uploaded to SAVT members' accounts. For the AGM and Sunday labs, you must sign in to receive your credits. All other attendees will receive a certificate by email. *Please allow 4-6 post conference for the SAVT office to process.
