Seeking: Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technologist

We are seeking a motivated Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our compassionate team. Lawson Heights Animal Hospital is dedicated to excellence in companion animal care and nurturing the bond with our clients and their beloved pets. Experienced RVTs interested in a full-time position are preferred; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures

- Laboratory testing including diagnostic imaging, and clinical result analysis

- Laboratory diagnostic procedures including phlebotomy, hematology, cytology, and urinalysis

- Pre-surgical assessment and preparation, and post-operative monitoring

- Anesthetic administration, induction, and monitoring

- Administration of treatments and medications, including analgesia for pain management

- Calibration and operation of medical equipment

- Delivering high-quality veterinary nursing care to patients and excellent customer service

- Administrative roles such as maintaining patient records, managing stock and inventory, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
