Work Experience:
2 summers working for BASF chemical company: one summer in sales and one summer in technical development.
1 summer working for Fast Genetics based out of Spiritwood, SK as a Swine Production Technician.
Part time job working at Sutherland Curling Club in office administration during school months.
A variety of volunteer experience in many different clinics, including Gateway Veterinary Services in Melfort, SK, Northeast Veterinary Services in Tisdale, SK, and at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre.
Previous Board/ Committee Experience:
President of High School Student Representative Council for 2 years.
Treasurer of Nut Lake Light Horse 4H Club, then the Melfort Trailblazers 4H Club for 3 cumulative years.
What do you hope to bring to the table or describe great things you are doing:
I hope to be a trusted student representative on the board so that I can efficiently convey information between the student body and the SAVT Board.
Personal Life Including Pets and Hobbies:
I am living in the city for school, but my heart is back home on the farm with all of our furry friends. We have several barn cats, a Border Collie/Husky/Bullmastiff named Rosie, and two horses Tia and Twister (my old 4H horse). I also keep myself very busy outside of school during the winter months being a competitive athlete in curling, playing on provincial and national circuits.
