Company Information

APSS is a non-profit organization that has an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture to enforce The Animal Protection Act, 2018 throughout rural and urban Saskatchewan with the exception of Regina that have their own Animal Protection Officers. APSS works closely with other agencies in animal welfare, agriculture, enforcement, violence prevention and other areas to provide protection for animals. APSS employs 10 fulltime Animal Protection Officers, an Operations Assistant, and the Executive Director. Each APO typically responds to 100 calls per year and travels in excess of 150,000km to do so.
