The Saskatchewan Association of Veterinary Technologists is pleased to announce that we will be holding our third annual “SAVT Job Fair & Marketplace” on Friday November 1, 2019. This event will be held in conjunction with the Tradeshow and Welcome reception of our 35th Anniversary Conference. It will be located in Ballroom B at the Saskatoon Inn, Saskatoon, SK. Because we use this space for meals and breakout sessions on Saturday morning, the Job Fair and Marketplace will take place on the Friday evening only.

Job Fair
The SAVT Job Fair gives potential employers, RVTs and Veterinary Technology students the opportunity to connect in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with resumes and business cards to exchange.
Marketplace
The SAVT Marketplace provides RVTs the opportunity to showcase their small businesses and products. It also gives our attendees a chance to get in some shopping on their weekend away from home. Cash is the preferred method of payment for most of the small businesses.
Vendors are allowed to sell merchandise at this event! However, any business/company that might appear to “conflict” or be in direct competition with other for-profit booths will be accepted on a case by case basis at the discretion of the SAVT.
Both are great opportunities to network with over 300 RVTs, Veterinary Technology students, exhibitors, speakers, Veterinarians, clinics and other businesses. Our total reach is expected to be 450-500 people.
Not only is our conference important for the continuing education sessions, but it gives our association the ability to pull our members together, to foster our relationships with our peers and increase our professional pride!
Vendor Entitlements
Registration includes:
- One, 6-foot skirted table, 2 chairs.
- Friday night reception meal for up to two representatives.
- Clinic/company name on signage at the Job Fair & Marketplace.
- Recognition in the official Conference Program.
Friday Schedule
- 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm – Set up in Saskatchewan Ballroom B.
- 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm – Job Fair & Marketplace, Tradeshow and Welcome Reception
- 10:00 pm – Tear down (For Job Fair & Marketplace only.)
