Registered Veterinary Technologist

Virden Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time RVT to join our mixed animal practice and would love to welcome you to our team of 5 DMV’s and 7 RVT’s and support staff.

We are a busy, progressive, full-service facility that is 50 % bovine and small ruminant, 30% small animal, and 20% equine. The practice has 24/7 on call and emergency services. The facility is fully equipped for equine, bovine and companion animal surgery, dental, and medical needs. Ambulatory services are available for equine, bovine, and small ruminants. Technologists rotate through the bovine, equine and small animal areas.

We’re inviting both new graduates and experienced RVT’s to apply.  Applicants should be team players, enjoy dealing with people and be able to work independently. They should have strong communication, problem solving and listening skills. We do have an excellent team of seasoned technologists with different skill sets who are also willing to provide mentorship.

Applicants must have a Veterinary Technologist diploma and be registered (or eligible to be registered) as a Veterinary Technologist with MVMA and MVTA.
