Registered Veterinary Technologist

The Chemainus Animal Hospital is looking for a full time or part time Registered Veterinary Technologist.

We are a privately owned, full service, 2-3 DVM equivalent hospital. Business hours are Monday to Friday (no evenings or weekends). Currently we have 2 full time RVTs on staff and schedule locum RVTs when needed.

The position includes a moving allowance, health/dental benefits, staff discount, CE and scrub allowance. We usually schedule a 4 day work week with a 3 day weekend.

Wage starts at $26-30 hourly. Negotiable with more experience.

Located in Chemainus, BC which is 30 min south of Nanaimo and 1 hour north of Victoria.

Many opportunities for RVT's to learn and grow here with excellent mentorship and staff. We have a lovely ocean view from our hospital and offer modern/updated laboratory, x-ray and monitoring equipment, we also practice low stress handling and book 30 minute appointments.
