Description
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our progressive, mixed animal practice in Drayton Valley!
Rocky Rapids Veterinary Services (RRVS) by Mosaic Veterinary Partners (MVP) wants to add another exceptional member to our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an average work week of 40 hours. Some availability to work a Saturday may be required.

The Job:
Our RVT’s must display a positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to animal care, while possessing strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our employees are passionate and show great compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients are under. As we are a mixed animal practice, RVT’s must be comfortable working around multiple species of animals. Our RVT’s daily duties comprise of the following, but they are not limited to these duties: nursing care, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging and testing, client education and interaction including admissions and discharges, filling prescriptions and attending farm calls with DVM’s as needed.
The Environment:
RVT’s can expect to spend nearly all of their workdays on their feet assisting DVM’s and clients, and be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Days can get busy and crazy so our RVT’s must be prepared to work in a busy, fast paced environment!
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited two-year veterinary technology program; registered or eligible for registration with ABTVA/ABVMA. Competence in the English language, patience, and a pleasant manner are absolute musts. New graduates are welcome to apply!
